Who We Are

A community hub dedicated to fulfilling the holistic needs of Muslims
in Bethesda and surrounding areas

Overview

Maqaame Ibrahim Islamic Center (MIIC) in Bethesda, Maryland was established in 2019. We are a Sunni mosque that offers facilities for five daily prayers, Jumu’ah and Eid prayers, and learning and community services. We are passionate about inclusivity, community and outreach. MIIC strives to create a harmonious environment where people of all backgrounds can grow together in faith and spiritual knowledge

We offer daily prayers at the Downtown Bethesda location. Friday prayers are offered at premises shared with the Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church and Bethesda Jewish Congregation. Our unique collaboration creates a diverse and inclusive space for members of the Abrahamic faith traditions. All are welcome!

Interfaith outreach and collaboration are an integral part of our organization. We are proud members of the InterCongregational Partnership Committee (ICPC) at 6601 Bradley Boulevard, Bethesda, MD 20817
