Overview
Maqaame Ibrahim Islamic Center (MIIC) in Bethesda, Maryland was established in 2019. We are a Sunni mosque that offers facilities for five daily prayers, Jumu’ah and Eid prayers, and learning and community services. We are passionate about inclusivity, community and outreach. Interfaith outreach and collaboration are an integral part of our organization and we are honored to be a member of the InterCongregational Partnership Committee (ICPC). Our goal is to create a harmonious environment where people of all backgrounds can grow together in faith and spiritual knowledge.
MIIC does not receive financial support from any organization. All of our programs and activities are funded solely by the support and generous donations of our community members, Alhamdulillah!
We operate out of two locations – a Musallah in Downtown Bethesda at 7805 Old Georgetown Road, Suite 212, Bethesda, MD 20817 and shared space at the Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church (BHPC) at 6601 Bradley Boulevard, Bethesda 20817.
Daily prayers and regular community activities are offered at the Downtown Bethesda location.
Friday Prayers and special community activities are conducted at BHPC. This space is a unique interfaith venue shared with BHPC and Bethesda Jewish Congregation (BJC). Our unique collaboration creates a diverse and inclusive space for members of the Abrahamic faith traditions. All are welcome!
