Women, Identity and the Search for Freedom

The ICPC invites you to a conversation with artist Jahan Ara Rafi about women, identity, and freedom. Societal norms often define women’s roles for them.

Through her paintings, Rafi explores the silence, confinement, and resilience of women – and the hidden stories held behind closed eyes and within quiet lives. Her talk will reflect on art as a way to challenge inherited limitations, give voice to what remains unspoken, and search for a deeper understanding of freedom and human dignity.
