ICPC Speaker Series – Voices Among Us
How Everyday People Support Refugee and Struggling Families in the DMV area
Every day, ordinary people in our community are showing up in extraordinary ways.
The ICPC invites you to join us for an inspiring gathering featuring members from BHPC, BJC, and MIIC, as they share stories and strategies of how their congregations have been walking alongside refugees in our area, offering support, compassion, and hope as families rebuild their lives.
The panel will include Brigitte Burgett from BHPC, Evelyn Ganzglass from BJC and Airokhsh Faiz from MIIC.
We will also hear from Larry Johnson, the founder of Bridge the Gap, who will speak about empowering refugees through access to reliable transportation and how providing cars can open doors to work, independence, and dignity.
Come learn, listen, be inspired and get involved if you feel called to do so.
