Interfaith Service and Brunch November 2025
On November 16, about 323 people attended the annual Interfaith Service and Brunch held by the ICPC. 180 people, including 15 children from our three congregations broke bread (actually bagels and delicious food catered by O’Donnell’s Market) together at our Interfaith brunch. The tradition has taken root and is flourishing at 6601 Bradley Boulevard.
Not only did we experience fellowship and hope, we raised more than $3000 for the Capitol Area Food Bank and Nourishing Bethesda through our joint offering.
In addition, our interfaith youth assembled 160 complete Thanksgiving baskets during the month of November. 50 of these baskets were delivered to the Feeding Families program in Anacostia; 83 baskets were delivered to the National Center Children and Families in Bethesda; 20 to DCPS families in NW DC; and 7 baskets to families within our own communities.
Several hundred pounds of food were also donated to both A Wider Circle to stock their pantry and to Feeding Families to help with their December distribution.
$4500 worth of Giant gift cards were also distributed. Any additional funds left over will be used to purchase gift cards for our food bank partners.
The generosity and support of members of all three congregations at 6601 Bradley have been incredible in these times. Thank you!
